The Health & Pathology home study workshop provides an overview of common equine or canine pathologies. Each pathology includes a description of the issue, its clinical signs, session patterns and information on prevention. Having this information allows the practitioner to make informed and intelligent decisions, while staying within their specific scope of practice. This baseline of information also gives the practitioner the tools to know when to refer clients to veterinary care for their animals.
This course provides an understanding of the basic measurements of health, both subjective and objective. It gives a detailed description of over 50 specific health conditions, providing an introduction to the condition, its clinical signs, traditional treatment and prevention.
